Just cuz I realized that my last journal was outdated and kind of depressing looking. :D Not like anyone reads them or anything. BTW for new watchers I try to post art here that I think warrants commenting, but most of my newest stuff is on my tumblr accounts

Regular (Let Every Page Glow) [link]
Fan Art (Reinterpretations) [link]

Thanks to everyone who likes my art enough to watch/fave/comment! It's been a long time since I first posted my weird 8th grade fan art, and I can't wait to keep on creating and improving!

BTW any lesMis lovers out there I need someone to fangirl with like now.

I've been looking for an opportunity to go see it again, I only saw it once on Christmas and that's just not enough!
Me and one of my brothers have been Les Mis geeks for years, we know all the music and tend to belt it around the house so it frustrates the rest of my family--like seriously my brother will just start singing one part and then I follow up with another character until we're singing entire songs and taking turns with the parts and things, and then we get yelled at to shut up lol
So, we were psyched to see the movie xD And in the theatre, at random points (like when One Day More started) he'd elbow me and we'd grin.
And I cried at the end, I could not help the flow of tears =/
For some reason I always love the song "Look Down" that the beggars/Gavroche sing, I thought that part was awesome in the movie. Any time it transitioned between time periods it was just really cool, made it feel like you were watching something really epic. Yeah I could gush for a while longer but my point is, I loved the movie too! Though I was bias to begin with I think xD

Woohoo yeah! I have most of it sort of memorized–kind of without trying too, and my brother and sis havent even watched it and they sing it all the time. My bro was just singing all the parts to "One Day More" all by himself a moment ago :D Feel free to gush all you want! I need someone to gush with, I crocheted myself a little tricolour rosette pin and wore my long coat and boots to school grinning like an idiot, but only a couple people have recognized it so far. *sniff*

Yeah Gavroche was so awesome! :D :D :D Although I shall always be a fan(girl) of Les Amis de l'ABC....

I feel like such a terrible theatre nerd for having never seen it before. Just have never had the chance to til now. I, myself, have already been listening to the album on repeat. It is a shame that "Do You Hear the People Sing?" isn't on the soundtrack besides that snippet at the end.

I knowrite? :D It's such a spirited song and I'm always happy that they end it with that. :D

Indeed! Everything just swells up inside you at the ending where everyone is back and alive, smiling and waving triumphantly to the sky. :) .... I really like that ending.

Yup! It really hearkens back to the thing they do at the end of plays, when the whole cast comes out and bows. :D I loved it so much and lol it really happened there really was a gigantic furniture wall barricade that was made in 1848 I believe

I figured as much, the equivalent of a final bow. Oh? Is that so? Coolio :)
